This set is a brass photo-etched accessory for dioramas and vignettes in 1:72 scale - it is not a kit of a vehicle or a building. It holds flat photo-etched parts of a classic European park bench with ornamental side frames and a slatted seat. Thin photo-etching faithfully captures the slender profile of the ironwork and the gaps between the slats, which would be lost in plastic in this scale.

Building and painting tips

• Nip the parts carefully out of the fret and clean up any remains of the gates.
• Make the bends and the assembly along the marked lines, best over a photo-etch bender.
• Bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate) - ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on brass.
• The metal parts can be left dark, the slats painted as wood and completed with a wash and a dry brush.
