The masks are die-cut from fine masking tape to the exact shapes of the parts in this specific kit, so there is no need to laboriously trim tape with a hobby knife directly on the model, and no risk of scratching the glazing.

Use

• Apply the masks according to the included diagram; for the Tomcat's large sliding canopy, work frame by frame.
• Cover any open areas inside the outline with a scrap of tape or liquid mask.
• Press the edges of the masks down firmly with a toothpick or a blunt tool – paint tends to creep under long straight frames.
• Spray the paint in thin coats, ideally the frame color first, then the fuselage color.
• Remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried, pulling at a sharp angle.
