An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern fifth-generation fighter F-35A Lightning II in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. The finish matches a machine of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, specifically the 303rd Squadron. The package holds decals for this unit and also a stand for displaying the model dynamically.
The F-35A Lightning II is a single-seat multirole fifth-generation fighter with the emphasis on reduced radar signature (stealth) and advanced sensors. The A version is meant for conventional takeoff and landing from land airfields, and it is being brought into service by a number of allied air forces including the Japanese one.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the joints down once they are dry.
