A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Vought F-8 Crusader carrier fighter in 1:72 scale, the type 1 pattern. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring a finer relief on the tread pattern as well as more accurate discs. The author of the set is the manufacturer Reskit.
The Crusader saw various patterns of wheel during its service, which is why Reskit offers sets in several types - this one is type 1. Resin castings have sharper detail, which improves the look of the landing gear once painted. The wheels are fitted in place of the parts from the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent because of the release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
