Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Peewit. The masks, cut from thin masking (washi) tape, follow the division of the canopy frames of the Grumman F9F-8P photo-reconnaissance aircraft and are usually accompanied by circular masks for the wheels. It is neither a kit nor a model - it is a masking accessory for spraying the glazing cleanly and quickly. The pre-shaped pieces take the place of lengthy cutting of tape.
The Grumman F9F-8P was the photo-reconnaissance variant of the swept-wing carrier-based Cougar jet, operated by the US Navy and the Marine Corps in the 1950s. Compared with the fighter version it had a lengthened nose with cameras in place of the armament; later it was redesignated RF-9J.
For modelers in 1:72 scale who want clean framing on the cockpit of this jet without laborious cutting of tape.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
