This 3D-printed resin add-on set contains the complete landing gear wheels for a model of the Fairey Gannet carrier aircraft. It is not a whole model but a detailed replacement for the plastic wheels from the box, with a faithful relief of the tread pattern and of the hub, for models in 1:72 scale.
The Fairey Gannet was a British carrier aircraft for anti-submarine warfare and later for airborne early warning, recognizable by its pair of contra-rotating propellers driven by a turboprop engine. It served with the Fleet Air Arm from the 1950s. Accurately made wheels bring out the realism of the landing gear on a model.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. The tires are painted a matte blackish gray and the hubs according to the scheme used; a light dusting with pigments looks realistic.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
