A resin kit for experienced modelers from Planet models. The basis of the model is resin castings, to which a photo-etched fret and 3D-printed parts are added. The decal sheet offers markings for two British vehicles. The Van Body version means a closed box body, which the British army used as a staff car or as a mobile base for radar equipment.
The Fordson WOT2 was one of the British light trucks of the 15 cwt class built during the Second World War by the British branch of Ford. The abbreviation WOT stands for War Office Truck, and several variants gradually appeared, differing in cab and body. Trucks of this class handled supply, signals and troop transport for British and Allied units in Europe, North Africa and on other fronts.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before building so that no mold release agent is left on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a separating disc and level the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Neither resin nor 3D prints react to ordinary cement for plastic, so join them with super glue. Apply a thin primer before painting to even the different materials out, and only then build the color coats up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
