Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks of kabuki tape from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:72 scale, intended for the model of the Fortress Mk. III heavy bomber. The masks are machine die-cut and self-adhesive, so they reliably cover the frames of the glazed cabin, the gun positions and the wheel discs. Thanks to them, spraying gives sharp, clean paint transitions without laborious cutting of tape. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for painting; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
Fortress Mk. III was the British designation of the American B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber in Royal Air Force service. The extensive glazing of the pilot's cabin, the nose and the gun turrets makes this type a subject with a great many areas that have to be masked during painting.
First degrease the glazing and free it of dust. Transfer the masks with tweezers and press them carefully against the edges of the frames so that paint does not run under them. Apply the paint in fine coats and take the masks off while the finish is still fresh.
This is an accessory for masking while painting, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
