• Cut off the original plastic barrel and drill a hole in the remainder of the part for the pin of the metal barrel.
• Bond the metal barrel in with super glue (cyanoacrylate); plastic cement does not hold on metal.
• Before painting, degrease the metal and lay down a primer.
