An injection-molded plastic kit of the projected German E-75 heavy tank in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The kit captures the 75 to 100 ton weight class of the so-called Entwicklung series and contains the upper and lower hull, the turret, tracks, decals and detailed instructions. It is an interesting subject from the field of unrealized projects.
The E-75 was one of the designs in the German standardized Entwicklung series of heavy tanks from the end of the Second World War. It was meant to unify production and replace the existing types with a single design with heavy armor protection and powerful armament. The project, however, stayed on paper and no vehicle was completed, which is why the tank counts among the so-called paper panzers.
The kit contains tracks in a soft material whose assembly calls for care, so we do not recommend the model to complete beginners. Paint the running gear before closing up the hull. For a faithful late-war look, a three-color camouflage applied with an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments is the obvious choice.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
