Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Trumpeter represents the captured Soviet KV-1 heavy tank in its German service modification, designated the Pz.Kpfw KV-1 756(r), in 1:72 scale. The model captures the characteristic German modifications, a detailed running gear, full-length tracks and decals for German markings.
After capturing a number of Soviet KV-1 tanks, the German army took them into its own service under the designation Pz.Kpfw KV-1 756(r), where the letter r (erbeutet) denotes captured equipment of Soviet origin. Some of the vehicles were modified by fitting a German gun of 7.5 cm caliber and a commander's cupola and were resprayed into German camouflage colors. The heavily armored KV-1s thus served against their original owners.
Assemble the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull. German camouflage schemes airbrush well over a colored primer on plastic; finish with a wash into the recesses and dust effects with pigments. The German markings and the cupola will bring out the captured character of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
