A set of four turned metal barrels, MASTER 1:72 Hawker Typhoon Mk IB - early cannons with uncovered barrels, replaces the plastic armament parts on a model of the British fighter bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal detail set, not a model of an aircraft. It contains four barrels of the 20 mm cannons of the early version with uncovered (protruding) barrels, with which you replace the plastic armament parts on a Typhoon Mk IB model in 1:72 scale.
The Hawker Typhoon Mk IB was a British fighter bomber that made its name as a destroyer of ground targets during the Normandy landings. It carried four 20 mm Hispano cannons in the wings; the early machines had uncovered barrels projecting markedly ahead of the leading edge, which is a clearly visible distinguishing detail compared with the later covered barrels. A faithful rendering of these four thin barrels adds to the conviction of a model.
Cut off the plastic barrels and replace them with the four metal parts. Glue with cyanoacrylate onto degreased surfaces. A metal barrel will not snap in the small 1:72 scale and holds a perfectly straight axis. Before painting, go over the metal with a base coat (a primer) for better adhesion and make sure that all four barrels point parallel.
This is not a complete model. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit.
