An injection-molded plastic kit of the combat rescue helicopter HH-60H Rescue Hawk of the US Navy in its early form. The early version matches the earlier appearance of the machine before the later changes to its sensors and avionics. The model has finely engraved panel lines, a clear cabin and a well-worked interior. The exact contents of the box are stated by the manufacturer.
The HH-60H Rescue Hawk is derived from the carrier-borne Seahawk family and serves the US Navy for combat search and rescue (CSAR) and for the support of special forces. It operates over the sea as well as over land, carries assault teams and provides fire support from its onboard machine guns. The machine works from the decks of aircraft carriers as well as from shore bases.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Paint the interior and the crew before closing up the fuselage and fitting the glazing. A primer and an airbrush are recommended. A flat dark gray naval camouflage is typical, and it comes alive with light emphasis on the panels and discreet weathering around the exhausts and the landing gear. Mask the clear parts and varnish them at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
