Humber Scout Car with a K-Gun machine gun 1:72 (Attack Hobby Kits, Profi Line) — a short-run injection-molded kit of a British light reconnaissance vehicle, supplemented with 3D-printed details. Intended for more experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic (injection-molded) kit of the British light reconnaissance and liaison vehicle Humber Scout Car in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Attack Hobby Kits. The Profi Line execution combines the basic plastic parts with supplementary 3D-printed details (the wheels, the stowed equipment and the machine gun, for example), which lift the fidelity of the model above the level of plain plastic. This version carries a K-Gun type aircraft machine gun (the Vickers K) on a roof mount.
The Humber Scout Car was a British light armored car introduced in 1942 and used until the end of World War II. It served for reconnaissance and for maintaining liaison between units. The vehicle had a crew of two men (with an emergency place for a third) and the Vickers K machine gun (the K-Gun) or a Bren, operated from inside the vehicle, was used as defensive armament. Its low silhouette and decent mobility made it a typical reconnaissance machine of Allied units.
With short-run molds, expect careful cleanup of the parts and a dry fit beforehand. Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and the plastic parts with thin plastic cement. We recommend a primer, then the basic olive or sand shade and weathering with a wash and pigments (dust and mud on the chassis).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
