Snap-fit plastic kit of the ISU-152 in 1:72 scale from Zvezda: the Soviet heavy tank destroyer and self-propelled gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet ISU-152 heavy self-propelled gun in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The set is laid out as a snap-fit build (the parts join without glue) and, despite the small scale, it offers a richly detailed surface. The parts can be glued for a firmer result and the model can be painted and weathered as a full display piece.
The ISU-152 was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun built on the chassis of a heavy tank and armed with the 152mm ML-20 gun-howitzer. Its heavy shells could knock out even the most heavily armored German tanks and fortifications, which earned the vehicle the nickname Zveroboj, meaning beast killer. It was used from 1943 to break through defenses, to destroy fortifications and to give direct fire support to advancing tanks and infantry.
Paint the running gear and the lower hull before you close the hull up. Even on snap-fit joints we recommend securing them with a drop of glue. Spray the base coat in Soviet green and bring out the engraved panels and rivets with a wash. Create mud and dust effects with pigments on the running gear and the sides, and touch the sharp edges with drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
