This is a resin, 3D printed detail set from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, not an airplane kit. The set replaces the plastic nozzles from the Hobby Boss kit with accurate parts with a faithful inner structure, for the twin-engine Jaguar attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. A detailed finish to the engine section noticeably lifts the overall impression the model makes.
The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British-French attack aircraft powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca Adour engines. The exhaust nozzles at the rear of the fuselage are a prominent detail that often stays simplified in small scales; accurate parts bring the view of the engine section to life.
Separate the parts from the print supports, clean them up and wash them free of print resin residue. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint the nozzles in metallic shades (burnt metal, steel) and pick them out with a wash according to the degree of heat loading.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic Hobby Boss kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
