Responsibility details are not available.
A 1:72 masking stencil from MH models for spraying the canopy of a model of the two-seat Swedish multirole fighter JAS-39D Gripen. The mask precisely delimits the frames and the edges of the glazing, so clean transitions can be sprayed with an airbrush without laboriously cutting tape.
The Italeri or Bilek kits serve as the base; they are sold separately.
The Saab JAS-39 Gripen is a Swedish lightweight multirole fighter aircraft with a delta wing and canards. The D version is two-seat, with a lengthened fuselage and a tandem cockpit layout, used for training as well as for combat tasks. The Gripen is known for its low operating costs and its ability to operate from short and improvised runways.
Mask the degreased canopy along the frames, press the edges down with a toothpick and spray with an airbrush – first with the interior color, then with the final shade. Mask the areas between the parts with scraps of tape. Remove the mask once the paint has dried. The two-seat cockpit has more frames, so the mask speeds the work up considerably.
It is a masking stencil, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
