An injection-molded plastic kit of the F-104J supersonic fighter in service with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), in 1:72 scale from a modern FineMolds mold. The model is broken down along the panel lines of the real machine and offers decals for several JASDF aircraft.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a slender supersonic fighter with a short trapezoidal wing, nicknamed the missile with a man in it for its speed and its sharp wing. The Japanese F-104J version served with the JASDF in the interceptor role and was license-built in Japan. It stood out for its high speed and rate of climb.
Glue with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the fine parts and the sharp leading edges of the wing with a file. The natural metal finish of the machine comes out well with metallic shades and polishing; accent the panel lines with a discreet wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
