FineMolds 1:72 JASDF F-104J Air Combat Meet is a plastic kit of the Japanese version of the Starfighter in the striking scheme of the air combat competitions, in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds depicting the F-104J Starfighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in the Air Combat Meet boxing, with decals for aircraft that took part in the air combat competitions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The F-104J was the license-built Japanese version of the supersonic Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, characterized by its slim fuselage and short straight wings with sharp edges. In the JASDF it served as an interceptor; for training competitions some aircraft received conspicuous color schemes and unit markings.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage. For clean aircraft shades an airbrush and a coat of primer beforehand are ideal; spray a gloss clear coat before the decals so that the markings settle without silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
