An add-on set of the fighting compartment roof for a model of the German StuG III assault gun in the early version, in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a replacement part. The roof of the casemate superstructure changed during production, so this is the part by which the early version differs from the later ones, and the casting offers finer hatches, vision ports and rims than injection-molded plastic.
Cut the part from the casting block with a fine saw and sand the cut face smooth. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Always try the part dry before fitting and sand the mating edge if need be, so that the roof sits without a step. Finish the inside of the fighting compartment before you seat the roof. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
Check the differences between the versions in advance against a photograph of the vehicle you want to build.
