An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat F-15DJ Eagle of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in 1:72 scale from Fine Molds. The model captures a machine of an aggressor unit with a pronounced digital, that is pixel, camouflage in the green version, which is reproduced by decals. The box also holds the AN/ALQ-131 jamming pod carried by aggressor aircraft.
The F-15DJ is the two-seat variant of the F-15 Eagle flown by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. An aggressor unit, a tactical combat training group, plays the part of the opponent and passes air combat experience across the squadrons. The conspicuous pixel finishes serve to tell the hostile machines apart during training.
Join the parts with liquid cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them back. The digital pattern is largely handled by decals, so give attention to a smooth gloss surface under them and to settling them with a decal softener. Masking the canopy glazing is worth the effort.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
