The plastic kit Krupp Protze Kfz.70 1:72 from the Polish maker First to Fight captures the German light truck and artillery tractor of the early Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the six-wheeled Krupp Protze in the Kfz.70 variant. The model is designed to be built quickly and suits collectors of small scale as well as the building of dioramas and tabletop wargames. A soldier figure is included with the vehicle, so the model fits well into a battle scene.
The Krupp Protze was a German light truck and artillery tractor with 6x4 drive, built roughly between 1934 and 1941. Its characteristic pointed front hood went together with an air-cooled engine. The Kfz.70 version carried crews and cargo and could also tow light anti-tank guns. The vehicle was used above all in the first years of the war on most fronts.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and cement the joints with thin cement for plastic. Assemble the chassis and wheels and let them dry thoroughly before you start on the body. For the dark gray or the later dark yellow finish, an airbrush over a primer works well; final washes and dry pigments bring out the detail nicely and add a dusty patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
