An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from PST. The model represents the Soviet KV-2 heavy tank of the Second World War. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The KV-2 was based on the KV-1 chassis but carried a tall, boxy turret with the massive 152 mm M-10 howitzer. It came about as a breakthrough tank for destroying fortifications and withstood light anti-tank guns. The tall turret and great weight, however, limited both mobility and the balancing of the weapon.
First glue the running gear and the lower hull, and only then assemble and fit the characteristic tall turret. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, treat the surface with a base coat and spray with an airbrush. Fine-tune the patina with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
