A plastic kit of the Soviet Lavochkin La-5FN fighter in Czechoslovak service, 1:72 scale, from Kovozavody Prostejov.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a Soviet Second World War fighter in 1:72 scale. The boxing concentrates on aircraft in Czechoslovak configuration and markings. The package contains plastic parts, clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet; paints and glue are not included.
The Lavochkin La-5FN was a single-seat fighter of wooden construction with a radial engine, one of the best Soviet fighters of the Second World War. The FN version had a supercharged engine with more power. After the war La-5s also served with the newly built Czechoslovak Air Force, hence this Czechoslovak boxing.
Clean the flash off the parts before gluing and test-fit the fuselage and the wing. Glue with a thin plastic cement. It is a good idea to finish the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Spray with an airbrush; the wooden skin of the fuselage takes subtle shading well. Postwar Czechoslovak schemes suit it.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
