A set of two accurate resin, 3D-printed rocket pods (launchers) of the LAU-3A Hydra type in 1:72 scale for aircraft and helicopters of the US Army and Navy. This is not an airplane model but external stores that can be mounted under the wings or on the pylons of suitable models. The package contains two pieces.
LAU-3A pods are 19-tube launchers for unguided 70 mm rockets of the Hydra family, used on combat aircraft and helicopters alike. The resin 3D-printed parts offer finer detail on the muzzle and the body of the pod than plastic parts do and complete the armament of a model faithfully.
Wash the uncured resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, apply a base coat (primer) suitable for resin; pick out the mountings and the rockets with fine shading and a discreet patina according to the service.
This is an armament accessory, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
