An injection-molded plastic kit of the latest version of the German Leopard 2 A7V tank in 1:72 scale. The Model Set form is a complete starter set: besides the plastic parts it also holds basic paints, glue and a brush, so all you need to add is the ordinary modeling tools. The model has finely drawn surface detail, a rotating turret and multi-part tracks; it is a more advanced kit (difficulty level 4).
The Leopard 2 A7V is the current upgrade of the proven German main battle tank. It brings strengthened armor, improved electronics and armament, and it represents the present-day peak of German armored forces. It is marked out by an angular turret with additional armor and a long 120 mm gun barrel.
Finish and paint the running gear and the bottom of the hull before you close the hull up. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and line the multi-part tracks up carefully with the wheels. An airbrush suits modern camouflage; use the paints enclosed with the set for the details and for brush work. Fine-tune the weathering (dust, dusting) with washes and pigments at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. With this set the basic paints, glue and a brush are included in the package; the other accessories are not, unless stated otherwise.
