Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The model captures one of the most distinctive and most numerous versions of this legendary fighter of the Second World War.
The Bf 109 was the backbone of the Luftwaffe fighter force throughout the Second World War. The G version, nicknamed Gustav, was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and became the most widely produced variant of the whole family. The G-6 sub-version is recognizable by the raised fairings known as Beule over the synchronized MG 131 machine guns in the forward fuselage. The G-6 machines were built in large numbers and used on every front.
Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement run into the seams by capillary action. Prime the surface before painting; the typical German camouflage with the later shades of green and gray sprays best with an airbrush, and small details can be picked out with a brush. Mask the canopy frames for clean edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
