Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat Soviet MiG-21PFM fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. The model includes clear cockpit parts and a set of decals for several color options. It is a classic plastic kit meant to be assembled and painted.
The MiG-21PFM (factory designation Izdeliye 94, NATO code Fishbed-F) was an interceptor and fighter aircraft introduced in the mid-1960s. Compared with the earlier versions it received revised avionics, a radar and the ability to carry both guided and unguided armament. The MiG-21 is among the most widespread supersonic fighters in history; it served with dozens of air forces around the world and became a symbol of the air arms of the Warsaw Pact countries, including Czechoslovakia.
Use thin modeling cement on the plastic joints, as capillary action draws it into the seam. Before painting, a primer filler is recommended to even the surface out and reveal any flaws. Metallic and camouflage shades are best applied with an airbrush; it is worth painting the cockpit and the landing gear bays before the fuselage is closed up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
