An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter, or rather of its upgraded Mi-35 version, in 1:72 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. According to the manufacturer it contains a decal sheet with markings for several operators of the Hind from various countries. Check the exact contents of the box against the manufacturer's packaging.
The Mil Mi-24, NATO reporting name Hind, is a heavy attack helicopter that entered service with the Soviet armed forces at the beginning of the 1970s. Its distinctive feature is the combination of a heavily armed attack machine with a cabin for troops, which makes it a strike and a transport helicopter at the same time. The Mi-24P version carries a fixed twin-barrel 30 mm cannon, and the newer Mi-35 is a contemporary upgrade of this proven platform, still in service in many armies today.
Assemble the rotor head and the landing gear carefully, and paint the canopy glazing only after it is glued in place. Finish the interior and the crew cockpits before closing the fuselage. Apply primer and the colors with an airbrush; Hind camouflage is often multicolored, so masking pays off. Paint the external stores and the rockets separately and bring out the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
