Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mil Mi-24V attack helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. It is a newer tooling with finely engraved panel lines, detailed interiors of both cockpits, clear canopy parts and a rich set of external armament. Once assembled it makes a robust and well detailed model of one of the most typical machines of the Eastern bloc.
The Mi-24 is among the best-known attack helicopters of the Cold War and carried the reporting name Hind in the NATO system. It joined heavy attack armament with room for a small group of troops in an unusual way, so it could destroy targets and carry soldiers at the same time. The Mi-24V version was one of the most widespread; it carried anti-tank guided missiles, rocket pods and a movable machine gun, and it served with the Soviet Air Force and with many other operators around the world.
Finish and paint the interiors of both cockpits before you close the fuselage up, mask the clear canopies and paint with an airbrush. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Lay the multicolor camouflage down after a coat of primer; a fine panel wash brings out the engraved lines and pigments bring the dusty areas to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
