Responsibility details are not available.
Richly detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the upgraded Russian Mil Mi-35M attack helicopter in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The kit is molded in gray plastic with a high parts count, clear glazing and a fine surface. The Mi-35M is the upgraded export version of the Mi-24 family, and you can tell it from the older Mi-24V at first glance: it has non-retractable (fixed) landing gear, shortened stub wings and a new main rotor with a more modern head.
The Mil Mi-35M (NATO code name Hind E) is the upgraded version of the famous Mi-24 attack helicopter. It brought a new main rotor, shortened stub wings, fixed landing gear to save weight and upgraded avionics and targeting systems. The machine keeps the ability to carry troops and carries heavy armament - a cannon, anti-tank guided missiles and unguided rocket pods. It serves with a number of armies as an all-round attack and support helicopter.
Watch out for the differences from the older Mi-24V - do not retract the fixed landing gear and take care over the correct shape of the shortened stub wings. Finish the cockpit and the engines before you close up the fuselage. Use thin cement on the plastic and mask the glazing. Apply a primer before painting; modern camouflage suits an airbrush, and the panel lines are best picked out with a wash. Paint the external stores separately and fit them last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
