An injection-molded plastic model of the French two-seat strike aircraft Dassault Mirage 2000D in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian brand Modelsvit. The set is richly equipped - besides the plastic it contains a photo-etched fret, self-adhesive masks and a wide choice of external stores and tanks, among them the cruise missile SCALP-EG. The box holds decals for several French marking options.
The Mirage 2000D is the two-seat strike version of the French Mirage 2000 fighter, derived from the 2000N nuclear carrier and intended for precision attacks on ground targets with conventional munitions. The SCALP-EG missile (Storm Shadow in British designation) is an air-launched long-range guided missile developed through French and British cooperation. With it the aircraft can strike targets from a safe distance.
Glue the plastic parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Mask the cockpit glazing with the masks supplied before painting. Lay down primer before painting; French gray-blue schemes reward fine shading of the panels. Paint and fit the external stores and the SCALP-EG missile according to the instructions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
