CMK 1:72 Mirage F.1 - Cyrano IV radar with an uncovered scanner dish is a resin detail accessory for a model of the Mirage F.1 fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory from the Czech maker CMK, designed in 3D, for a model of the French Mirage F.1 fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a faithful replacement for the nose with the Cyrano IV radar, on which the pressurized radome has been taken off and the movable scanner dish normally hidden inside is revealed. The resin parts directly replace the plastic parts of the nose, so they are easy to use.
The Mirage F.1 was a French supersonic fighter from Dassault, in service from the 1970s. The onboard Cyrano IV radar mounted in the nose provided search and tracking of targets; its uncovered form is a rewarding detail for a model with an open nose.
Wash the mold release off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The scanner dish and the inside of the nose will stand out with metallic shades and a light wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
