An injection-molded plastic kit of the French supersonic Dassault Mirage IIIE fighter-bomber in 1:72 scale from Modelsvit. The model is marked by a fine engraved surface texture and a high part count; it usually offers the glazing in the open and the closed position, drop tanks and armament. The Mirage IIIE was the strike-fighter (multirole) version of the famous Mirage III series with its characteristic tailless delta wing. It was driven by a turbojet with an afterburner and the machine served with a number of air forces around the world. The E version put the emphasis on attacking ground targets while keeping its air combat capability, and it was among the most widespread variants of the whole family.
This is a short-run kit with a high part count — dry-fit the large parts, which have no locating pins, glue them with a thin cement for plastic and clean the gaps up. Paint and shade the cockpit before closing the fuselage up, and mask the glazing. Lay a primer on and spray with an airbrush; bring the panel lines out with a wash and add fine wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
