A Red Fox Studio display base for models in 1:72 scale. The subject is the surface of a modern NATO-type runway in the Type 1 version measuring 300 x 230 mm, including the characteristic markings and lines of Western military air bases. The surface is already color-finished with a three-dimensional relief effect.
The base is a light board of extruded PVC roughly 5 mm thick with a pre-printed surface in a satin sheen that resists UV light. The Type 1 version differs from the other NATO airfield bases in the layout of the markings and of the concrete runway slabs.
This is a display base on its own. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
