An injection-molded plastic kit of the Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa Aces in 1:72 scale from Arma Hobby — the Japanese fighter nicknamed Oscar, equipped with masks and an accompanying 3D file.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modern injection-molded kit of the Japanese fighter Ki-43-II Hayabusa in the Aces edition from the Polish brand Arma Hobby. The box contains gray and clear plastic parts, decals for two color schemes, painting masks for the canopy and the wheels, and an accompanying file for 3D printing details (among other things exhausts in two variants, the rear bulkhead with the seat and harness, machine gun barrels and radiators). The color schemes are based on machines serving in Burma and China.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa (peregrine falcon), given the Allied code name Oscar, was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force for most of the Second World War. It was distinguished by exceptional agility and light construction; the Ki-43-II version received a more powerful Nakajima radial engine, better armor and changes to the wing. A number of Japanese aces sat in its cockpits, and it is after them that this edition is named.
Glue the small parts in 1:72 scale with liquid cement for plastic and cut them away carefully with a sharp knife. Apply a primer before painting and use an airbrush for soft transitions and the panel lines. The masks supplied make clean spraying of the canopy framing and the wheels easier. Glue the parts from the 3D file with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
