A kit of the two-seat trainer version of the light supersonic fighter Northrop F-5B in 1:72 scale from the Turkish manufacturer PM Model. It is an injection-molded plastic model in gray plastic with clear parts for the extended two-seat canopy; decals are included. The design is simple, with a lower part count. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
The F-5B is the two-seat trainer variant of the F-5 Freedom Fighter family. Compared with the single-seat F-5A it has a lengthened forward fuselage with a tandem cockpit for instructor and student, yet it keeps the full flight characteristics and capabilities of a combat aircraft. It was used to train pilots of a number of allied air forces.
Pay attention to the fit of the cockpit parts and the clear canopies. Clean up the flash, dry-fit the parts and fill the joints if needed. Glue with thin cement for plastic, use a primer and spray the paints with an airbrush. Lay down gloss clear before the decals and finish the build with a matte overcoat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
