Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in its reconnaissance form, in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Arma Hobby. The box builds on well-regarded molds and adds masks for the glazing and the wheels, 3D-printed camera parts with a template for cutting the opening in the fuselage, and decals for several marking options. It is a fresh, modern take on a kit in a small scale.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra had an unusual layout with the engine behind the cockpit and a cannon firing through the propeller hub. In the reconnaissance role some of the machines were fitted with a camera placed under the fuselage, which was used to photograph terrain and combat targets. The Airacobra made its name above all with the Soviet Air Force, and at low and medium altitudes it was a feared opponent.
Finish the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. Separate the 3D-printed cameras from their supports carefully and fit them according to the template supplied. Mask the glazing and the wheels with the masks supplied. Lay a primer, spray the camouflage with an airbrush, use gloss varnish before the decals and bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. In a small scale, cleanly executed detail really shows.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
