The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter of the Second World War with an unusual layout: the engine sat behind the pilot in the middle of the fuselage and drove the propeller through a long shaft. It carried a heavy cannon in the nose. The aircraft had tricycle landing gear with a nose wheel. The L and N versions were later production variants. The Airacobra made its name above all with the Soviet Air Force, where it was a popular and successful fighter.
As with short-run kits, expect to sand and clean up the parts and to dry-fit them. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and finish the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Use the camouflage that matches the markings you choose and give the model a gloss clear coat before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
