This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory from the Czech manufacturer CMK. The set in 1:72 scale brings resin fishtail exhaust stacks for the late versions of the P-40 machine (K, M and N) that replace the simplified plastic parts of the kit.
The finely cast exhausts have suggested openings and a faithful shape, which markedly refines the look of the engine section. The detail of the exhausts is clearly visible on a finished model and is one of the features that reveal the quality of the build most of all.
Wash the resin to remove the mold release agent and separate it from the casting blocks. Bond the parts with super glue. The exhausts come out best in colors with a metallic and rusty cast and a light wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
