HäT 8156 the German PaK 36(r) anti-tank gun is a 1:72 set with four guns of 7.62 cm caliber and sixteen crew figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set in 1:72 scale contains four anti-tank guns of seven point six two centimeter caliber and sixteen crew figures in four poses to go with them. Four guns in one package mean you can display a whole battery or man an anti-tank screen on the gaming table. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled.
The PaK 36(r) was not a German design. It came about through the conversion of Soviet divisional guns of 76.2 mm caliber, large numbers of which the German army captured in 1941. The Germans widened the chamber for their own more powerful round and added a muzzle brake, and so obtained a weapon that could deal even with tanks the existing anti-tank guns could not handle. The designation in brackets indicates Russian origin. The weapon was used both on a chassis and as a towed gun, and it became one of the few cases in which captured material markedly strengthened a whole class of weapon. Beware of confusion: the older and far weaker PaK 36 of 3.7 cm caliber is an entirely different weapon.
The carriages and the wheels have fine parts, so separate them with a sharp knife and a little at a time. Fit the shield only once the inside is painted, otherwise you cannot get behind it. The muzzle brake is the recognizable mark of this weapon, so take care that it sits true to the axis of the barrel. Arrange the crews around the gun in natural roles and unify them with a single uniform shade.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
