A set of four 3D-printed resin R-73 missiles in 1:72 scale. This is not an aircraft kit, but an underwing armament accessory that replaces simplified plastic missiles with parts featuring fine control fins and an accurate body relief.
The R-73 (NATO reporting name AA-11 Archer) is a highly agile Soviet and Russian short-range infrared missile, introduced in the 1980s. It is carried by fighters such as the MiG-29 and Su-27 and their later variants. It is distinguished by a row of forward control and stabilizing surfaces running the length of the body.
Wash the parts to remove uncured print resin, cut them from the print supports and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The body is usually light gray with colored bands; we recommend an airbrush and fine masking.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
