Quinta riveting 3D decals - rectangles and rounded shapes (1:72)

A modeling aid for riveting from the Quinta brand in 1:72 scale. These are relief 3D decals with very fine raised rivets printed on them, laid out in rectangles, rounded rectangles and ovals. It is not a kit or a paint: it is an accessory with which you quickly and evenly add missing or sanded-away riveting to the skin of a small aircraft, vehicle or ship model. The rivets and their spacing are scaled down to suit 1:72; for larger models there are separate variants with a coarser spacing.

How the riveting decals are used

• Choose the shape or the row you need and cut it out of the sheet
• Transfer it as a wet decal to the spot where the rivets belong
• Let a decal softener settle the fine relief down onto the surface
• Once dry, varnish over it and work it into the weathering like ordinary riveting

Who the aid is for

For modelers in the small scales who want faithful rivets without the laborious work of a riveting wheel. It is useful above all after filling and sanding, when the original riveting has disappeared.
