Roof tiles (Italy) type A 1:72 are a resin, 3D-printed diorama accessory from the Czech maker Firma49 — segments of southern European tiling for building roofs in a small scale, not a model.

The set in 1:72 scale offers segments of roof tiling in the style of Italian houses. It is diorama building material, not a vehicle model — it is used to build roofs and ruins in scenes of a small scale. Resin printing keeps the profile of the rounded tiles even at the fine size of 1:72.
In 1:72 scale buildings form the background as well as the focus of smaller scenes. The segments make it possible to create believable tiling for a Mediterranean house or a damaged ruin without the labor of laying individual tiles. They suit scenes from the Mediterranean theater and aviation dioramas with buildings.
The parts are held on thin print supports. Before separating them it is a good idea to dip the set in hot water for a moment — the resin softens slightly, the supports are easier to cut off and the material does not chip. Join them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and cut and sand with respiratory protection. Because of the small scale, rely on fine contrast — a terracotta base, a light wash in the joints and discreet highlighting of the edges.
The accessory is supplied as a resin casting, unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
