An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle in the smaller 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is a new mold with fine detail and contains about 137 parts. The compact model suits a collection in the smaller scale as well as building in numbers, for example for a diorama or a supply column.
The BMP-3 is a Russian (Soviet) amphibious infantry fighting vehicle whose series production began at the end of the 1980s. It carries a crew of three and up to seven soldiers and stands out for its heavy armament – a combination of a 100 mm weapon, a 30 mm automatic cannon and machine guns. It is amphibious, on the road it reaches about 70 km/h and it serves in the Russian army and in a number of other countries.
In the smaller scale work with a sharp knife and thin cement, and cut the tiny parts off carefully. Apply a primer and spray with an airbrush; Russian green or a desert camouflage comes to life with thin washes in the recesses and a light dusting on the running gear. Paint the tracks and the wheels before you finish the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
