An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The model captures the three-axle K-5350 truck of the Mustang family; the tires are of a rubber material. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The K-5350 belongs to the Mustang family of military and civilian trucks. It is a three-axle vehicle with all-wheel drive that has been in production since 2003. It serves for transporting military materiel and personnel, for towing trailers and artillery and as a chassis for a wide range of weapon systems. It carries a load of about six tons and is powered by a V8 engine of around 280 horsepower.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Do not glue the rubber tires with ordinary cement for plastic and do not paint them with thin acrylics without a primer: degrease them first and use a suitable primer. Apply primer to the body and paint it with an airbrush; a single-color military khaki or a three-color camouflage is typical. Bring out the panel lines and the recesses of the chassis with a dark wash, and dust the underside and the fenders with mud and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
