A complete starter set from the maker Italeri with a plastic kit of the German Sd. Kfz. 182 King Tiger heavy tank in 1:72 scale. Besides the kit with decals, the package holds cement for plastic, three acrylic paints of 7 ml each, a brush, tweezers, a double-sided sanding file and nippers. Everything needed for a first build is therefore in one package.
The Sd. Kfz. 182 Panzer VI Ausf. B, nicknamed King Tiger, was a German heavy tank put into action from the middle of 1944. It was marked by heavily sloped frontal armor, a weight of around 70 tons and a powerful 88 mm gun. The vehicles were given turrets in two forms, the earlier Porsche and the later Henschel.
Bond the parts with the enclosed cement for plastic and finish the running gear before closing the hull. Apply the enclosed acrylic paints with a brush; washes and pigments for dust and mud effects suit weathering and bringing out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, glue, brush and tools are part of this starter set; for a perfect finish it is useful to add further shades.
