An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in its early versions in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov (KP). The JOYPACK series is a pared-down version: the package contains one plastic sprue including the cockpit canopy, with no decals and no printed instructions, and the instructions can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. According to the instructions, the sprue supplied builds one model in one of the early variants Mk.Ib, Mk.IIb or Mk.Vb early.
The Supermarine Spitfire was the legendary British single-seat fighter with its characteristic elliptical wing, which became famous above all in the Battle of Britain. The early versions were powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. The variants designated b (Mk.Ib, IIb, Vb) carried a combination of machine guns and two 20 mm wing cannon as their armament, unlike the purely machine-gun a versions. The Mk.V became the most widely used variant of the middle part of the war.

Because the package contains no decals, allow for buying a suitable decal set and downloading the instructions from the manufacturer's website. Apply a primer before painting, spray the camouflage with an airbrush in thin coats and mask the cockpit glazing carefully. Pick out the panel lines with a fine wash.
