1:72 Spitfire MKk.Vb, VII, VIII a IXe

L Decals Studio Spitfire Mk.Vb, VII, VIII and IXe 1:72

A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale offering markings for models of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.Vb, Mk.VII, Mk.VIII and Mk.IXe versions. It makes it possible to finish a model in a particular historical form and to widen the variants beyond what the basic kit usually holds.

Contents and use

The sheets contain national insignia, code and fuselage markings and further details for the versions listed. The decals are applied by the classic wet technique onto a gloss surface, which prevents the edges from whitening, that is silvering.

Application tips

• Clear coat the model with gloss before the decals.
• Soak the decal, move it into place and blot the excess water away.
• Use a decal softener for perfect adhesion to the surface and the rivets.
• Finally unify everything with a matte or satin clear coat.

Who the set is for

• Builders of Spitfire models who want less usual markings.
• Modelers building several versions of this fighter.

The decals are supplied on their own; paints, clear coat and the model are not included in the package.
