A kit of the carrier training version of the Su-25 aircraft in 1:72. It is a short-run model: the basis is made up of injection-molded plastic sprues completed by resin parts, a clear part for the canopy and a sheet of decals. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Su-25UTG is a two-seat variant derived from the ground-attack Su-25, adapted for training pilots in landing on the deck of an aircraft carrier. Against the land-based versions it is fitted with an arrester hook and strengthened landing gear; it served for practicing carrier operations. It keeps the tandem cockpit with dual controls and the sturdy construction of the Frogfoot family.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding. With a short-run mold, reckon on fine-tuning the fit and cleaning up the joints. Apply a primer first, then the masked camouflage, and at the end the decals under the protection of a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
